By using Canine Standards, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to create a membership account.
2. Directory Listings & Accuracy
Guest Listings: Information for non-members may be gathered from public sources. Canine Standards is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.
Member Listings: Member listings may include information submitted by members and reviewed by Canine Standards. Members are responsible for keeping their information accurate and current.
Third-Party Links: Our site contains links to external platforms such as Google, Yelp, social media sites, and trainer websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.
3. Professional Conduct & Revocation
- Code of Ethics: All members must adhere to our Code of Conduct and Ethics.
- Removal Power: We reserve the absolute right to remove any member immediately, without notice, based on our internal review of unethical behavior or animal cruelty reports.
- Refund Policy: Membership fees are non-recurring. All sales are final. If a membership is revoked due to a violation of our Code of Ethics, no refunds will be issued.
4. Limitation of Liability (The "Bridge" Clause)
- No Endorsement: Canine Standards is a directory, not a governing body. We provide a bridge between dog owners and trainers. We do not endorse the specific methods, tools, or outcomes of individual training sessions.
- Assumption of Risk: Dog training involves inherent risks. Canine Standards (BBDAX Consulting LLC) shall not be held liable for any injury, property damage, or disputes arising from a professional engagement initiated through this directory.
5. Intellectual Property
Canine Standards does not claim ownership of the photos or videos you upload to your profile. However, by posting, you grant us the right to display that content within the directory framework.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any legal disputes shall be settled in the courts of Wyoming.
